This week I was home alone and I used the chance to experiment in the kitchen. As it approached the end of the week, I realized all that was left in the kitchen was some chicken breasts and bacon. I decided LET’S WRAP THE CHICKEN IN BACON!. So, I did.
It turned out juicy, tender and delicious. And super Bacony. For all you bacon fiends out there give this a try!
Before I did this, I looked up a bunch of bacon wrapped chicken recipes and modified it for ingredients I had on hand which were:
3 Chicken Breasts
1 Can of Campbell’s Mushroom Soup
2 stalks of green onion.
3 tablespoons of sour cream
10 strips of bacon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit while you prep. If you like your bacon crispy, I recommend putting it in the microwave for a minute on some paper towel before you wrap the chicken. You might need more bacon than the recommendations above depending on how big your pieces of chicken are. Wrap them completely with bacon.
Mix the sour cream, mushroom soup and green onion together. Pour it directly on the wrapped chicken. Stick it in the oven for 40 minutes and BOOM! you got some delicious bacon flavoured chicken. Mmmmmmmm. Pretty easy, and hard to screw up!
