I love leather sneakers. They give off a rockstar vibe. I had these Michael Kors ones with thin leather, but it started peeling. I noticed it was pretty bad yesterday (right before I had to work an Awards show), so I went to the store on a whim and bought these badass Gianni Renzi ones.
I have no regrets. The gold bling is worth every penny. They were a tad pricey, but the leather seems like a better quality than my old ones. I can’t wait to rock these with my wardrobe!
I’m so happy to have this Pixel Pikachu shirt from Uniqlo. The line is all sold out here in Canada, but I got a good friend to order it online, ship it to the States and smuggle it up here.
I love this simple pika-shirt so much!
The Uniqlo x Nintendo collection launched his weekend. Our Canadian stores didn’t get too many of the designs but I managed to snag this adorable Pikachu shirt in large.
I love to wear it like a dress. It also goes great with my Pikachu Loungefly backpack. Pikafashion is the best.
I needed a small purse for parties and weddings, so I recently bought one from Mackage that I’m so in love with that I just had to share it. It’s the ZOEY-ST Dual Mini studded crossbody bag. My favourite part is that it is secured by an arrow that is more than just a decoration.
Opening up the bag also reveals plenty of storage space for cards, phones and even a handy little mirror!
I love the studs and chains. It adds an edgy but classic feel.
I also happened to be buying the bag when there was a promotion going on and I got a free passport holder.
I love my new grown-up accessories. I’ve been investing more lately into fashion pieces that I really love instead of cheap disposable things. This bag for sure will be used to death!
When I ordered my Pikachu backpack, Japan LA also sent me a free Pokemon Jumper as part of a promotion. It’s like the comfiest and most random thing, but going to the washroom in one of these is still a mystery.
I saw this Pokemon Loungefly mini backpack in the Japan LA online store and I couldn’t resist getting it.
The interior even has lightning bolts.
It’s faux leather, but looks sturdy and well-made. Adding it to my pika-style wardrobe.
I also got this adorable Stranger Things tee from Teefury. It features all the kid stars!
Eleven even has an Eggo in her hand!
The temperatures are finally dipping this week. We saw our first snowflakes on Sunday. Monday afterwork I splurged on some things to keep me warm:
I’ve never bought under shirts for winter but I couldn’t resist trying Uniqlo’s Heattech line. It has special fibres to keep the wearer warm or extra warm (which I decided choose). There’s also Argan Oil to keep your winter skin comfortable. I’m excited to test it in cold weather. It’s so thin that it doesn’t add much bulk.
I wanted warm waterproof boot thats were more work appropriate than the fluffy boots and these were perfect. I love my new Sorel Lola boots!
The soles are rugged, which is important to me when buying boots because I am a total clutz, so anything that improves my stability is a plus. Plus, they look great too.
Now I’m all ready for going to work in the cold!
To keep my neck warm this winter, I ordered an infinity scarf from Tight Knit Syria. The company helps to keep Syrian women resilient and productive during dire times. They also break down economic barriers by connecting the women with international designers, retailers and wholesalers.
My scarf was made by a Syrian woman in the Shatila Camp in Lebanon. It is very well-crafted.
And so pretty too! I love pieces that are both in style and can support a great cause too.
Simons, a department store from Quebec recently opened in Mississauga. My sister and I went scouring the racks last weekend. My favourite finds were a blouse and a shirt that both had terrier prints.
Aren’t they so cute? Now I can show my doggy love at work!
