Random Photos from My Trip To Rouyn

dscf2807

Last weekend’s flight to Rouyn-Noranda was on a 10-person private plane. I had never been on one before and it was slightly frightening to feel every little movement of the plane.

Rouyn-Noranda is a copper mining town in southwestern Quebec. It is surrounded by Osisko Lake and the town has free bike rentals if you want to bike around it.

This was the lovely press mansion where we picked up passes, had a party and also drank copious amounts of alcohol.

Enjoy some more photos of Rouyn below!

Labour Day Weekend in Espanola

Backyard
I spent Labour Day weekend at Nash’s parents’ place in Espanola, a town of around 5000 people in Northern Ontario. It was rainy all weekend but I still tried to take some photos of the beautiful scenery and other random things.

Cheltenham Badlands & Forks of the Credit Provincial Park

Caledon
My search for fall scenery led us to the Caledon area. We visited Cheltenham Badlands, a small series of soil erosions which turned into beautiful scenery and also Forks of the Credits Provincial Park for a mid-afternoon hike. Check out my video log of the day and some photos below.

Kariya Park

IMG_0192
The weather was gorgeous so we headed to Kariya Park to see if we could catch the cherry blossom trees in bloom. It’s a lovely little spot in the core honouring the twin city relationship with Kariya, Japan. We were probably a week early because not all the trees bloomed yet but still managed to snap some colourful photos.

Ruby Princess 2013: Day 2 & Day 3 – Princess Cays & A Sea Day

Day 2

Sunrise

The next morning me and dad woke up extra early to catch the sunrise. It was cloudy but the result was a sky of beautiful colours. Don’t these almost look like paintings?

Then we headed down to the Horizon Court and had breakfast. I enjoyed the eggs benedict among other things including American bacon. Canadian bacon is so much tastier.

Shortly after we disembarked onto smaller boats that took us to the Princess Cruises owned Princess Cays.

Photoset: Winter Exploration

It snowed last week and on Saturday the sky was so nice and blue that me and dad decided to go exploring for interesting things to shoot in Mississauga.

Photoset: Thanksgiving 2012

Since last year, I’ve been cooking the family turkey for Thanksgiving. I did this year too.
