The weather is beautiful this sunny Saturday. I’m going to head out and enjoy some fresh air. Spring is my favourite season. It’s not too hot, not too cold and flowers are in bloom.
I love pink eyeshadow and I was inspired by cherry blossoms to do this eye and lip look. Now to own the day with my spring look.
I was at Toys R Us not too long ago. I like to go there to relax (yes, I’m weird). Anyways, I walked past this aisle full of dinosaur heads. Someone tell me why are these a thing? Are they so popular that you need an aisle full? I guess this 28 year old will never know.
So you wear all the outfits in one go. Is this too many patterns?
So apparently I have reached 40,000 tweets on Twitter. I’m surprised people aren’t like super annoyed of me.
Speaking of annoying…. I did pick one of these up.
What is the weirdest thing you have ever seen someone leave behind? I think mine were these angels at a bus shelter. Maybe it was a sign?
I know we lost yesterday but let’s hope we can come back tomorrow!
Let’s go Blue Jays! First time at the playoffs in 22 years
I added to my Japan LA Hello Kitty x The Simpsons collection with this totally colourful and adorable reversible tee. How could I resist wearing all those donuts?
I wore it to Bestival last weekend and was approached by many people who asked if I knew that Homer and Marge were getting divorced. That was rather random.
My boyfriend is the type of person who will set an alarm and press snooze half a dozen times before he wakes up or sometimes have multiple alarms. I don’t know how he does it. It would (does) drive me nuts.
I am be opposite. I like my sleep uninterrupted. I set one single alarm so that I have the minimal amount of time between when I have to get up and when I must head out the door. I feel like I get the most optimal sleep this way. As well, my body naturally trains itself to wake up at the exact same time and I feel awake by the time I am at work.
There’s no real right or wrong way but my way works for me. How do you wake up?
How do you unwind? Sometimes it’s watch some Netflix. But lately my thing is eating Popsicles in the bathtub. How about you?
Lately, I’ve enjoyed reading a lot of autobiographical books/memoirs from female writers like Lena Dunham, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Jenny Lawson, Julie Klausner and my reaction to all of them are always “man, their lives seem so interesting and inspiring.”
But when I think more about it, I’m satisfied and happy with my own life and it gets interesting too. Though it’s fun to occasionally live through the eyes of others in books (and I guess social media), it’s important to carve your own paths, interests, adventures. I’m constantly obsessed with trying new things whether it be food, music or experiences.
This blog has been an awesome way to document some of these things and I thank all my readers for making me feel like a star of my own life.
