Fenty Trophy Wife Highlighter

Despite the hefty pricetag, I couldn’t resist the Fenty Beauty hype. The Trophy Wife Killawat highlighter is so beautiful and alluring.

The packaging is minimalistic but stands out with its rough edges.

What I like about the gold Trophy Wife highlighter is that it’s multi-purpose. It can go anywhere that needs sparkle, not just your cheeks.

I love using it as eyeshadow. It brightens up my eyes. On my cheeks, it gives me a sparkly natural glow since my skin tone is already yellow. I like adding a little dab on my lips, to give it some dimension.

If you’re having a night on the town, it beautifully illuminates under the lights when you’re in a dimly lit place.

A little goes a long way, so even though it costs $34, it’ll last a long time and through many looks!

Glossier Haloscope

I have a new obsession with highlighters and I heard Glossier’s Haloscope was a must-have, so I picked it up in the lightest colour: Moonstone. The stick has two parts, an outer halo infused with crystals and a middle that is moisturizing.

I thought it would be more sparkly because of the crystals, but it actually provides a very natural dewy glow. It’s nice as a daily highlighter for work or going out.

I loved ordering from Glossier (it was my first time). They threw in a bubble bag and cute stickers!

Pikachu x Tonymoly Blusher

Another addition to my Pokemon x Tonymoly collection is this adorable liquid blush. Like the cover cushion, it also has a Pokéball applicator. However, I prefer to use my fingers so that I don’t waste half the product on the sponge.

I bought the darkest colour, and don’t need too much for the effect. It has a light smell that is kind of like cherries. It’s buildable, so I can make myself a Pikachu if I really want.

I love how all these products have great packaging and actually work!

Tonymoly x Pokemon Pikachu Mini Cover Cushion

When I want light coverage lately, I’m loving my Pikachu Mini Cover Cushion. It goes on light to hide imperfections but makes it look like it is still my skin.

The packing is super cute. The cushion applicator is a Pokéball and the front is a smiling Pikachu.

The best products are both cute and functional!

Glossier Cloud Paint

I did a Glossier order recently and one of the things I grabbed was the Cloud Paint in Haze. It is the darkest colour of the collection.

It’s a liquid blush. I’m always skeptical of them because they could potentially make me look like a clown.

This, however, blended easily. It’s also buildable so when the first layer dries a bit, you can add a bit more colour.

I love this because it actually mixes well with the redness I normally have on my cheeks and use them to my advantage instead. A little goes a long way in this little tube, but I would totally buy this again when I run out.

Pokémon x Tonymoly Lip Tint

Lip tints are really big in Asian beauty at the moment. They give you the adorable look of eating a coloured popsicle with a slight gradient. The method is to put it toward the center of your lip and blend outward.

This Pokémon one opens up like a nail polish and applies smoothly and isn’t sticky. It also has a decent staying power compared with lip glosses.

It also has the bonus of having Pikachu on the packaging so scores high for me on all areas!

Pokemon x Tonymoly Yellow Nail Polish

I couldn’t resist this Psyduck nail polish from the Pokémon x Tony Moly collection. I don’t know if I can pull of yellow, but I will definitely try it once the final bits of shellac come of my nails.

Influenster: Saint and Sinner Perfume from Kat Von D

I don’t really wear perfume, but I received these cute Kat Von D potion bottles of perfume from Influenster.

The Saint (white bottle) is flowery with jasmine and hints of mandarin, vanilla and a wood tone.

Sinner is noticeably “darker” containing cinnamon, vetiver, patchouli and wood.

Personally, I preferred the Saint perfume but I gave both to a friend who would appreciate the scents.

Influenster: Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick

I was so excited to receive a few samples of Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche Liquid Lipsticks from Influenster. It also came with a lip primer.

Of the 3 colours, I have tested two so far.

They are pigmented and go on the exact shade it looks like in the bottle. Often when I buy lipsticks, it comes out more red than I hoped (based on my natural lip colour). It glided on creamy, and I didn’t need more than one swipe.

I love that they are matte, but at the same time don’t look dry on my lips. This is probably my favourite Influenster box so far as I’ll use the heck out of them.

You should join Influenster too to take part in free samples!

DR. G Red-Blemish Soothing Ampoule

I have a bit of redness on my cheeks and I am not sure what causes it. I’ve been trying to find a product that would minimize it and not just hide it like a BB cream would. I picked this Red Blemish Soothing Ampoule.

I’ve been using it like a serum after washing and toning. I don’t find that it helps my cheek redness that much but what it does do is make any blemishes or sudden acne disappear almost overnight. Maybe I got lost in translation. At least this works for something!
