I don’t know why but every time I order a coffee and put on a lid, the coffee would explode everywhere.
It doesn’t matter where it is. Maybe I walk weird or something.
My week was already exciting enough, but I also turned 29 today! On both Facebook and Twitter, I asked people to send me dog and or Simpsons gifs instead of generic messages.
I had tons on Facebook! It made my day.
Now I will accept them here in the comments too if you have any!
This was super unexpected and I’m still in slight shock but Nash put a ring on it! I also used this chance to test out Instagram’s new gallery feature.
I’m super excited to spend the rest of my life with this dude. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Here are some of my favourite photos from Friday’s show at Wavelength’s 17th anniversary series. Check out the full set here.

I’m still continually finding new books in episodes of The Simpsons! Here are more of my favourites:

I bought this Sephora Nude Lip favourites kit recently to have lip colours that are more appropriate for everyday/work. I love funky colours, but I think people would think I was weird.

These all came in an adorable shaped box:
– Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Honeycomb (beige nude)
– Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian (nude)
– Estée Edit The Barest Contour lip Liner in 05 In The Buff (satin nude)
– Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème in 246 Slow Burn (creamy nude rose)
– Too Faced Cosmetics Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick in Queen B (matte soft mauve)
– Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in 1993 Comfort Matte (medium brown)

A few of these are too light and make me look like I’m dying. However, they make a great base colour for using bold eyeshadows as lip sticks (ex purples, greens etc).
My current addiction is lip colours. I used to be afraid of using them up, but now I have so many there’s no excused NOT to use them!
This weekend I’ll be shooting Wavelength 17! If you’re in Toronto come check it out. I guarantee you’ll discover a cool new band you’ve never heard of before.

I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since the lonely Valentine’s Day where I launched Ride the Tempo. I am super proud of it today. I’ve met some of my best friends because of the blog and had the craziest experiences.
I can’t believe once looked like this:

Then it looked like this:

Then this:

Then I made it white for some reason:

Finally in 2015, the site became the modern look it looks today. The site is forever changing, but I’m happy that it has evolved so much over time.
