I couldn’t resist this Psyduck nail polish from the Pokémon x Tony Moly collection. I don’t know if I can pull of yellow, but I will definitely try it once the final bits of shellac come of my nails.

I thought it was a steal to find these for $3 at Dollarama. I usually see them at the Walmart compulsive buy aisle for like $9.

They are like nail polish markers. Each was two sided.

It also came with cleaning pins that look like they could double as the thing that helps remove a sim card from your iPhone.

The sad part is when I opened it, a lot of the pen end was jabbed inside, rendering it semi useless. It’s supposed to be like a fine point pen sized thing, but since it got sucked inwards it can no longer handle details like it’s supposed to.
Boo, what a dud. I’m glad I didn’t pay $9 for this and could potentially still use it as regular polish.

I’m currently super obsessed with this nail polish colour from OPI called Spoken From The Heart, from the Hello Kitty collection. It’s a bright pink that is summery and pops but also super fashionable.
$3 for 4 nail polishes sounded like a total steal. I’ve never heard of Kozmic Colours before but these are so cheap that I couldn’t not try them!
Plus, I love these pastel colours. They are so appropriate for summer. I tested the teal colour.
Boom! Not bad right? I used two coats on all my fingers. It goes on thin, so you do need multiple layers but it was relatively easy to apply. I’ve had it on for a few days now and it hasn’t chipped. Definitely not a bad buy.
Thanks everyone for all your support in my first Dollarama review. Today I am going to review this Style Me Up Chalkboard Nail Art thing. Like the Easyfeet, it is also a premium item for $3. If you hate reading, I also made a video of me trying this for real.
Anyways, doesn’t this look like a super fun thing to do when you are bored? Even when I’m in my 20s? At $3 it seems like a steal for black nail polish, 3 decorating markers and a top coat. They even give you a mini catalogue of all the other style me up nail kits and hair kits available.
When I opened the pink marker (after shaking it for a while), it did not look like there was any ink. I tapped on the table for a while and everything but it was definitely dry.
I found the exact same thing with the green marker. This was making me sad.
Lastly the blue marker had colour. When I pressed it to paper, it made blue markings! However, when I applied it on top of my black nail polish, it did absolutely nothing. The blue markings were not bright enough to show up on top of the black.
In the end, I was left with a matte black nail polish and a gooey top coat. This was definitely a Dollarama fail. The product either sucks, or the ones that they sell there are way past their due date.

When I was at the Face Shop a few weeks ago, I picked up this inexpensive nail polish set for $6ish.

Inside are three different colours labelled 1, 2, 3. They are to be applied in layers from the inner nail bed to the tip of the nail resulting in a gradient effect.

The above photo is a test with only one coat. I found the sparkles in bottle three to be a little bit too large to effectively apply on the tips-only. Otherwise, I love the colours together! You can watch me test it out in this vlog.
