I’ve got some crazy catching up to do on blog posts but thank goodness for the holidays! Since it’s Christmas I thought I’d share some photos of my day with you.

The majority of my PEI trip involved wedding-related activities. The wedding took place at the PEI Brewing Company. We spent some time there making necessary preparations and I snapped a few photos during regular hours:

The family of the bride and groom rented out cottages for the week. The view from there was peaceful and beautiful.

One of the nights we attended an all-you-can-eat dessert event in support of PEI’s Autism Society. We were spoiled with delicious treats:

I had a great time in PEI. I hope to be back in the East Coast soon to do more exploring (and eating)! I couldn’t leave without buying these:
Nash and I are currently in Prince Edward Island for my best friend’s wedding next weekend. We had a little bit of time to explore over the past few days, so here’s what we did so far.
We tried Gahan Craft Beer. This Honey Wheat Ale had a nice sweetness to it. This could possibly be the most Canadian looking beer.
The next morning we had breakfast at Phinley’s, where poutine for breakfast is a thing!
We then went to a pumpkin patch to pick a few up. We got some decent sized ones for only $3!
I enjoyed these bales of hay in the form of Angry Birds.
We considered a gigantic pumpkin for a moment.
Laura has two sweet cats which were adopted. This is Maddie.

On Saturday we went to see Rich Aucoin at the PEI Brewing Company. We happend to walk in when an art battle was just ending. Aucoin himself was painting something!
On Sunday, we explored downtown Charlottetown. This year, they celebrated the 50 year anniversary of the 1864 Canadian Confederation Conference. Here is Laura and I with a gigantic 2014.

The weather was warm over the weekend so we had a chance to walk along the water and in town.
I’ve been too busy to blog lately but here are a few random photos I took last weekend at the Toronto Islands.
I spent Labour Day weekend at Nash’s parents’ place in Espanola, a town of around 5000 people in Northern Ontario. It was rainy all weekend but I still tried to take some photos of the beautiful scenery and other random things.

It’s been a while since I had a photo post but I finally had time this long weekend to go nature exploring. Here are some random photos of flowers, scenery and Teddy. All photos were taken with my Canon 60D and my Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens.
Hey guys, I’ve had a busy week with new adventures so didn’t have time to post much! Last weekend, I attended the last day of the Henry’s Exposure Show. It was camera gear galore and I was able to test many lenses as well as shoot some animal and human models.
I found this adorable baby bunny in my yard and had to snap a photo! All the little ones are coming out as the weather is getting warmer.
Here are some photos of Teddy with the Sigma 35mm. Minimal editing, mostly just white balance.
I finally gave in and bought myself a 35mm lens. I chose the Sigma Art series because I’ve heard great things, plus it’s half the price of the Canon. A 35mm is nice and compact so now I can bring it around with me and there will definitely be more photo posts. Since it’s spring I thought I’d test it out on some flowers. Besides a little bit of white balance tweaks, these photos weren’t edited much.
