Drake is a meme once again! And now you can make him sit on any photo with the Drake’s Views site. I thought I’d enhance a few of my selfies. I can’t help but think he did this on purpose to allow people to make fun of him once again.

My friends and I will always find the photo booths everywhere we go. Printed photos still find a special place in my heart (or all over my work desk). I even ordered another set of 36 Instagram prints from Origrami. There’s something magical about having candid shots of life to look at in physical form that has more emotional impact than stalking your own Facebook photos.
Photo booths on location are even more fun because they remind me of the random event I was at, so I will continue finding them.

Can you free write for a full 5 minutes? The Most Dangerous Writing App aims to help you do just that!
The concept of this app is that if you stop typing for more than five seconds, the entire thing will delete itself. If you erase stuff, it counts as you are wasting 5 seconds. So use the delete key sparingly.
It’s a frightening way to write. You can set it for 5, 10 minutes or even an hour. But who would torture themselves like that?
We all get writer’s block and this would be a useful tool to get everyone writing with less thinking. Often when we have unlimited amounts of time, we also have unlimited amounts of thoughts that lead self-editing, and less words on paper.
When I tried this app, 5 minutes seem like the longest amount of time ever. Every second is being counted down in the top right corner as you type. It’s legitimately insane. As five seconds near, the words become transparent, so it does have some warning that there has been some idleness in the production of words. Sometimes you just need to stop for a second.
I am currently taking the test by writing this article. This is scary. Will I make it to the end? If you ever see this published as a blog post than that is a confirmation that I have successfully made it to the end of 5 minutes. Oh my god I have 51 seconds to go. There are over 1330 words now in this document. The crazy part is that I actually can type 90 words per minute and am typing slower than normal just so I don’t run out of ideas. I type them faster than I can think of them and that is making this countdown clock even harder than it should be. I win. Yes. 5 Minutes have passed. Will you make it to the end of this writing test?
Recently, I finished building the Lego Simpsons Kwik-E-Mart.

This set was more detailed and fun to build than the Lego Simpsons House. There were so many tiny parts and fun features including a frozen Jasper in the fridge. Here are some photos as I was building it:

Last night, Dad and I drove around the neighbourhood to take some photos of crazy Christmas houses we had heard were around somewhere. These nearby houses decked their entire yards out and even were so detailed as to have stuff going on in the windows of the house. Here are some photos of our adventure:

For a better perspective I also decided to Vine both of them:
This weekend I finished all my Christmas shopping. I did a combination of online/offline shopping. Amazon’s free shipping on orders over $25 has been something I have found super useful this year, saving time by allowing you to pick up multiple items at one location- the postoffice.
I love shopping for thoughtful gifts. I don’t care so much about the price of things as much as their use value and how much each item would mean to each person. If something is not going to be used or excite someone than it doesn’t matter if it was worth $1000.
This December has been so packed with events holiday related and not. It’s making the blogging challenge almost hard to meet at times but I’m at the home stretch and I’m not giving up now!
My couch needed some cushions so I decided to order these Tetris blocks from ThinkGeek. A set of 5 costs $99, which is on the pricier side but it’s such a unique statement piece. I considered making them but the materials alone would’ve costed me around the same.
They are super comfy and huggable and now I can play Tetris irl.

I spent most of the weekend bing watching on Aziz Ansari’s new Netflix series Master of None. It was so great. I think my favourite part of it was the real life lessons and (often taboo) topics were covered in meaningful ways. I won’t give away any spoilers so I think you should go watch it before someone else does!
