Here are some random photos of Teddy that I took with my 85mm on my 5D Mark IV. I’m still getting used to the camera but I can’t get over the gorgeous effect I get at f1.2 on a full frame.

Merry Christmas! Hope your weekend has been filled with fun time with your loved ones.
For those of you who love my dog Teddy, he has his own Instagram account! You can follow him at @bichonteddy.

Dollarama has a wide variety of pet stuff including some Christmas costumes! Teddy became a reindeer without breaking the bank. The only con is they only have one size but we managed to squeeze both parts through his giant head.
How does he look?
Here are some photos of Teddy I took on our autumn stroll with my iPhone 7 Plus. Here is the post with my DSLR for comparison.
In outdoor lighting this phone makes a killer camera.

I went hiking with the dog somewhere in Milton last weekend. Here are some photos from my DSLR. I’ll be posting a second set tomorrow with photos from my iPhone 7 Plus so you guys can compare!

This week I was having a major anxiety attack and couldn’t focus much on life. I decided to go home (to my parent’s) and spend some quality time with Teddy. Cuddling with a dog really helped calm me down.
Now I’m doing some very necessary blogging and work I was behind on!
Last weekend, I purchased this Pikachu costume from Teddy that is a bit too small..
Here are some hilarious photos of him looking miserable in it. He hates clothes.

Pokemon Go might be fun, but nothing beats a real animal! Here are some random photos of Teddy enjoying his new whale toy.

And if you don’t have your own real life dog, you can always volunteer to walk one at a shelter while you’re out catching Pokemon!
I think I tired Teddy out.

I spent the long weekend at my uncle’s cottage near Haliburton. There was little cellphone signal so I was unplugged for most of the trip. It allowed me to relax and appreciate my surroundings.

On Saturday we set off belated Canada’s Day fireworks. I’d never done them before and it was funny to get a lot of “that’s it?!” reactions as we lit each fuse. Now I can appreciate those giant displays that the city puts on.

Teddy made the trip with us and I spent some time with him watching sunsets.

Nash came along for the trip too.

After some rain there was a beautiful rainbow in the distance.
I also tried canoeing for the first time. However, when I tried it was windy and we tipped over the boat. Thank goodness for life jackets because I can’t swim! I also happened to be wearing my Apple Watch but it survived the few minutes in water. Weirdly, so did Nash’s LG G3. I guess our devices are a lot stronger than advertised.
I avoided canoeing the rest of the time and took some photos of the others doing it instead!

Teddy was always curious what people were doing on water.

Here are some more various photos of Teddy and nature:

It was a fun and relaxing long weekend!
